For this recipe, you’ll need a Cuzen Matcha Maker.

Servings: 16 brownies
Active time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • ½ c unsalted butter
  • 4 oz white chocolate bar or chunks
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¾ c granulated sugar
  • ¼ c brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 c flour
  • 4 Matcha Maker powder shots with Signature Blend
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • 4 oz white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 340℉.
  2. Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
  3. Melt butter and white chocolate chunks or bar together in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring at intervals to ensure even melting and smoothness. It should only be 4 minutes.
  4. Mix together eggs, sugars and vanilla in a separate bowl.
  5. Temper in the white chocolate mixture, mixing until well combined.
  6. Sift in flour, matcha and salt. Stir until thoroughly incorporated.
  7. Fold chocolate chips into the batter.
  8. Pour the batter into the lined square pan.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over the top.
  10. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  11. Let cool completely and cut into 2 x 2-inch squares.

Tips

  • Keep in mind that white chocolate scorches much more easily than regular chocolate, so the heat should always be indirect.
