An umami brownie, dense with a velvety vanilla flavor, punctuated with white chocolate chips.

Ingredients
- ½ c unsalted butter
- 4 oz white chocolate bar or chunks
- 3 large eggs
- ¾ c granulated sugar
- ¼ c brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 c flour
- 4 Matcha Maker powder shots with Signature Blend
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- 4 oz white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 340℉.
- Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter and white chocolate chunks or bar together in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring at intervals to ensure even melting and smoothness. It should only be 4 minutes.
- Mix together eggs, sugars and vanilla in a separate bowl.
- Temper in the white chocolate mixture, mixing until well combined.
- Sift in flour, matcha and salt. Stir until thoroughly incorporated.
- Fold chocolate chips into the batter.
- Pour the batter into the lined square pan.
- Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Let cool completely and cut into 2 x 2-inch squares.
Tips
- Keep in mind that white chocolate scorches much more easily than regular chocolate, so the heat should always be indirect.
