Burnt Basque matcha cheesecake

  1. Bring all ingredients to room temperature.
  2. Preheat the oven to 410℉.
  3. Line a 6-inch round pan with parchment paper.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until it’s smooth.
  5. Shift in powdered sugar and matcha powder, and mix until well combined.
  6. Add eggs, vanilla and heavy cream. Mix until well combined.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
  8. Refrigerate overnight.
