Matcha Shot Glass & Wooden Saucer (Set of two)
Matcha Shot Glass & Wooden Saucer (Set of two)
The Matcha Shot Glass is the perfect size for a straight shot of Single Origin or Premium Blend Matcha. Crafted by a former light bulb factory, the glass is so delicate, it gives the sense of holding the liquid itself. Enjoy the feeling of matcha gliding clean and cool across your fingertips to your lips.
For a beautiful and practical presentation, we’ve included two, grain-colored saucers, which are carved from the elegant katsura tree. The saucers are very light, matching the feathery weight of the shot glasses we’ve paired with them. The natural color and grain of the wood may vary.

About Kimura Glass
Japan-based Kimura has spent 100 years working with small artisan factories. One such partner, Shotoku Glass Company, built their reputation making mouth-blown light bulbs. Eventually the light bulb industry automated, and Shotoku transitioned to making glassware. Their origins gave them a specialized niche in their new art: making ultra thin glassware by coupling the use of molds and glass-blowing.
About Nankei Pottery
Nankei Pottery is a small operation located in Yokkaichi in Mie Prefecture. It started in 1913 as a clay seller, but evolved into a pottery studio within the last 50 years. Nowadays, the pieces are designed in banko-yaki style, a technique originating in the Edo Period. Harkening back to the company roots, the Nankei potters blend their own clay, allowing them to control the precise characteristics needed for their unique style.
