Matcha breakfast smoothie

 For this recipe, you’ll need a Cuzen Matcha Maker.

To boost your energy for a busy day, prepare a flavorful, nutrient-packed breakfast smoothie.

Ingredients 

  • 1 banana
  • 2 c spinach
  • 1 tbsp almond butter, or nut butter of choice
  • 1 tsp agave or honey
  • ¾ c Bellwether probiotic yogurt, plain or vanilla
  • 2 tbsp almond milk, or milk of choice
  • 1 matcha shot with Signature Blend at Matcha Maker strength level 3
  • 8-10 ice cubes

 

Instructions

      1. Peel and cut the banana. 
      2. Place the spinach, banana, almond butter, agave, yogurt and milk in a blender. Pour in the matcha shot and pulse once.
      3. Add the ice cubes and blend until smooth. Adjust the sweetness to taste.
      4. Pour the smoothie into a chilled cup and enjoy.

       

      Tips

      1. Ingredients can be prepared and frozen in advance.
