Iced Earl Grey matcha latte

 

 For this recipe, you’ll need a Cuzen Matcha Maker.


The perfect blend of bergamot’s citrusy aromatics and matcha’s smooth umami.

Earl Grey simple syrup

Ingredients 

  • 8 fl oz water
  • 3 Earl Grey tea bags
  • 1 c sugar

Directions

  1. Boil water and teabags for 10 minutes.
  2. Stir in sugar until it has dissolved.
  3. Allow the syrup to cool while the tea bags continue to steep.
  4. Remove the tea bags. You will have about 1 cup of syrup.

Ingredients 

Directions

  1. Drop the ice in a cup and add the syrup.
  2. Pour the milk over the syrup.
  3. Add a matcha shot and stir.
  4. Taste for sweetness and adjust.

 

Tips

  1. If you’re using loose leaf tea, use about 4 ½ teaspoons of tea leaves.
  2. Use 2 tea bags if you like your drinks extra sweet and use 4 tea bags if you like your drinks lightly-sweetened.
  3. You can store the syrup in a glass jar or bottle in the refrigerator for up to two weeks or in a plastic container in the freezer for up to six months.
